Adaptive Ministries

Adaptive Ministries at ECF works to equip, resource, and inspire communities of faith to discover what God is calling them to be in a changing church and world. The Adaptive Ministries Team seeks to create and innovate Christ-centered programs and resources focused on the church of the future.

Fellowship Partners Program Since 1964 ECF has supported over 200 scholars and ministry leaders throughout the Episcopal Church, fostering innovation in theological formation and ministerial leadership in challenging times.
Pivot: Online Learning Cohorts Pivot: Online Learning takes ECFs former Congregational Leadership Initiative (CLI) work into its next phase and increase its sustainability as well as impact on underserved communities. This program creates a comprehensive cohort-based learning experience that is flexible, adaptable, contextual, and useful to a broad diversity of underserved and alternative faith communities throughout the church.
Diocesan Vitality Initiative The Diocesan Vitality Initiative (DVI) is a pilot program to partner with dioceses in identifying adaptive challenges and creating processes for renewal, redevelopment, and revitalization. DVI aims to give rise to a more expansive, inclusive vital future for The Episcopal Church.
