ECF Fellowship: Academic

The Academic Track supports emerging Episcopal scholars whose research will enhance The Episcopal Church’s understanding of theology, pastoral care, ethics, liturgy, or history.

Applications to the 2026 ECF Fellowship Class are now closed. Applications to the 2027 class will open in November 2026.

What Fellows Receive

Academic Fellows receive financial support for graduate or post-graduate research, access to the wider Fellows network, opportunities to share their work with Episcopal audiences, and an ongoing relationship with the Episcopal Church Foundation as their scholarship progresses.
