Fellowship Partners Program
Since 1964 the Episcopal Church Foundation has supported over 200 scholars and ministry leaders throughout the Episcopal Church, fostering innovation in theological formation and ministerial leadership in challenging times. As you can see from the list of all past Fellows, the Fellows who are selected have a significant track record of going on to share their knowledge, experience, and best practices with the wider Church in transformative ways. Academic
Academic Fellows will have an impact on the formation and development of lay and clergy leaders, will address a recognized shortage area in scholarship/teaching, or will address an area where the Church needs to grow.

Ministry
Ministry Fellows are engaged in ministries at the community or congregational level that will change individuals, groups, or communities in positive ways, impacting their ability to see and use God's gifts.

How much money is awarded?
Fellowship awards will range up to $15,000 per person per year. Renewal grants usually decrease in amount in the second and third years and are usually capped at $10,000 and $5,000, respectively.
Are the awards renewable?
Awards are renewable up to a total of three years, but renewal will be based on continued need and impact, as well as availability of funds.
How many fellowships are awarded each year?
Typically, three to four new Fellowships are awarded annually.
