Episcopal Pulse FAQs

How will I receive the survey?

Starting in 2024, each monthly survey will be sent to you via email, the one you provide in the sign-up form.

When are the surveys sent out?

Starting in 2024, surveys will be sent out via email during the first full week of the month. If you join mid-month, you can expect your first survey in the first full week of the following month.

Who can I talk to if I have an idea for a survey topic?

We gladly welcome your suggestions! You can submit your idea by emailing [email protected].

How will I know if I win the monthly draw for a gift from one of the Episcopal Pulse partners?

If you win, we'll send you a congratulatory email, and you'll have one week to claim your gift. We'll work with you to ensure you receive it promptly. If unclaimed within the one-week timeframe, we will re-draw for another winner.

Is this survey connected with the General Convention Parochial Report data collection or Church Pension Group Episcopal Clergy and Lay Compensation research?

No, the General Convention and Church Pension Group data-gathering efforts serve different, yet equally important, purposes. Their data-gathering is a canonical requirement of The Episcopal Church and/or is in response to General Convention resolutions, while ours is an independent initiative aimed at gaining insights into The Episcopal Church.

We encourage clergy and congregations to participate in their efforts, as well as ours. For the most recent data from each of these sources, please use the following links:
